Post 13. Prospective Consideration of the Roles of Rites of Passage and Acculturative Stress.

This post is really a stub. This is a way for Corey to remind himself of the best direction to begin moving in to start expanding research of violence, culture, and education. So here I have posted a link to an innovative original article which addresses urban violence in the context of cultural stresses, and the absence of strong American rites of passage, within our culture. This is my road-map, for beginning to reduce the tolerance of violence, the article applies to Mexican-American youth, but I plan on finding ways to adapt these concepts toward urban youth in general.
